ITM Turhol has a unique and fully automated production process. After stringent inspection, the various raw materials are mixed and transferred to one of the six fermentation tunnels.
In these tunnels, a controlled aerobic fermentation takes place. During this process, part of the ammoniacal nitrogen is converted into organic nitrogen. Any pathogens or seeds capable of germination that may be present are becoming extinct during the fermentation process.
After fermentation, the raw materials are dried and pulverised at high temperatures. The final product is then pressed, cooled and sieved. The granule diameter is determined in accordance with the customer's wishes.
The ITM Turhol production process is strictly monitored by the veterinary service. Samples are taken from each production batch and these are analysed in an independent laboratory for microbiological quality and nutrient content.
